One day. One rhythm.

The First
Cajón Festival

CAJÓN FESTIVAL is Charlotte's newest cultural festival celebrating the rhythm, history, and community behind Peru's most iconic percussion instrument—the Cajón.

The festival brings together internationally recognized artists, local performers, interactive workshops, dance, and community participation to create an experience where audiences don't just watch—they become part of the music.

More than a performance, CAJÓN FESTIVAL is a celebration of cultural exchange, bringing people of all ages and backgrounds together through the universal language of rhythm.

Learn the Rhythm

CAJÓN FESTIVAL isn't just about watching. It's about participating.

Community

Music became a shared language as people of every age and background joined the celebration.

Moments That Stay With You

Some memories aren't measured by the performances you watched, but by the people you met, the rhythms you discovered, and the moments you shared.

CAJÓN FESTIVAL was more than an afternoon of music—it was a celebration of connection, curiosity, and community.

CAJÓN FESTIVAL was created with a simple idea: that rhythm has the power to connect people across cultures.

Our vision is to make Charlotte a destination where world traditions are celebrated, shared, and experienced together.

The first edition was only the beginning.
