PEX - Peruexpresion Dance Company is an ensemble dedicated to promoting the dances of Peru and Latin America, founded and directed by Mauricio Salas and Angela Castillo.

 

PEX's artistic approach is based on the style and choreography of the Peruxpresión Folklore Company, founded in Lima, Peru, in 2005, to project their legacy and influence internationally.

 

In Charlotte, NC, PEX was born thanks to the meeting of two generations of artists.

The first is made up of experienced and talented dancers, residing in different parts of the United States. The second is made up of young people and children who love dance, with or without Latin roots, who find in these rhythms a space for growth and expression.
